What started in an attic grew into a million-euro business.

Our adventure begins in March 2004, in the attic of CEO Eric Idema’s house, where he worked hard every day to expand the empire. And with success. He initially did everything on his own - from online shop maintenance to packing products, and from sending packages to purchasing and keeping up with the latest trends – but it quickly grew into a real company. The EDC Retail Group was born.

In the years that followed, we grew into Europe’s largest retailer in the field of sexual wellness products and we are quite proud of that! In 2020, the EDC Retail Group has over 220 passionate employees, who are spending each day optimizing and improving the experience of our customers.
